Who we are

Rotary Club of Sarnia strives to make a lasting and positive impact, both locally and internationally. We seek to continually improve our community and the planet by completing stand-alone projects and supporting specific children’s and community-wide organizations and initiatives that support Rotary’s key areas of focus. These include: Peace and conflict prevention/resolution; Disease prevention and treatment; Water and sanitation; Maternal and child health; Basic education and literacy; Economic and community development.

About the Rotary Club of Sarnia

The Rotary Club of Sarnia continually seeks to improve our community and world. We reach out and support key organizations and create projects that will make a difference. Locally, we support Bluewater Health, St. Joseph's Hospice, Pathways Health Centre for Children, the YMCA, The Inn of the Good Shepherd, Forest Kineto Theatre and many more. We also partnered with other Rotary Clubs to install the new Canatara Park playground equipment. Internationally, we support clean water projects in Africa and for Pandemic relief, we support oxygen generators in India.

Why a Balloon Race?

The balloon race is a virtual (possibly world-wide) event, with no impact environmentally, and our hope is it may provide a small break from the COVID-19 blues.

The Rotary Ethos of "Service above Self" is our guide, and any money raised will assist us in our continuing support of our local and international partners and projects.
